Compound is designed as diesel engine treatment to be used for passenger cars with a mileage of 50,000 kilometres and more. Suitable for all engine types and designs, including turbocharged and non-turbocharged ones.
Tribotechnical compound alters friction process of metallic surfaces. It does not react with motor oils and their packages of chemical additives, does not change their properties and characteristics.
EFFECTS OF APPLICATION
Atomium compound creates special conditions in areas of friction which leads to building up a protective metal layer. It covers worn surfaces, optimizes friction clearances, and retains dense oil film.
THIS ALLOWS YOU TO SOLVE THE FOLLOWING TASKS:
TO RESTORE AND EQUALIZE THE COMPRESSION LEVELS IN THE CYLINDERS.
Restoration of the cylinders’ shape and a dense oil film on their surface seal the gaps between the compression rings and the cylinder walls. This prevents the breakthrough of gases and as the result increases compression and levels it among cylinders. Treatment with tribo-compound can not make the compression higher than the nominal level defined for this specific engine which makes the use of the composition safe.
Restoration of worn cylinders and piston rings is in fact the only stable and safe way to improve the tightness of their mating. It makes Atomium compound one of the best additives for low compression cases.
TO STOP ENGINE OIL BURNING OR SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE IT
Treatment with the Atomium compound improves the mobility of piston rings (by cleaning up piston grooves) and narrows friction clearances between them and cylinders. This makes ring work more efficient and improves oil removal from the cylinder walls. Less oil gets into the combustion chamber and burns out there, especially at high engine speeds. Restoration of worn surfaces is a kind of “natural” way to fix oil burning root cause. There are additives for engine burning oil which are focused exactly on this problem. The Atomium compound proposes a decrease in oil consumption just as one positive effect in the row of others.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Under the influence of tribo-compound, a protective metal layer is formed on the worn parts, which is able to retain a dense oil film permanently.

The Tribotechnical compound contains particles of the active mineral.
Getting into the zones of local contacts of friction surfaces with a temperature of more than 1000 degrees and high pressure the mineral particles activate electronic connections in the metal. It allows the surface to capture the metal from the engine oil, which is there as a product of engine wear. Gradually, a special protective layer is formed on the entire friction surface. It is stronger than a normal surface and can hold denser oil film due to its porous structure.
The micropores of the protective layer are filled with oil, which forms a continuous film under surface tension forces. APPLICATION

Notes:
- The shelf life is 5 years. The date of manufacture is indicated on the bottle.
- It is not recommended for use in mechanical failures of parts and assemblies.
- Active Plus is compatible with all types of engine oils.
- The sediment at the bottom of the bottle is the main working element of the "Active Plus" compound - microparticles of minerals. It is extremely important to thoroughly mix the contents of the bottle before pouring it into the engine oil system. (The colour of the sediment may vary from light green to dark grey and black depending on the production batch).
- Overdose when applying the composition of 1.5 times is not dangerous for the engine and does not disrupt its operation.
- The composition of "Active Plus" does not affect the characteristics and condition of parts made of composite materials, ceramics and rubber products.
Treatment of the engine with additive "Active Plus" is performed in three stages. At each stage it is necessary to add the compound to the engine oil according to the following procedure:
- Warm up the engine to operating temperature (normal operation).
- Turn off the engine.
- Carefully mix the contents of the bottle so that the sediment at the bottom is distributed throughout the entire volume of the liquid.
- Pour 1 bottle of the compound into the oil filler neck of the engine. (If the volume of the oil system is more than 7 litres, it is necessary to fill two bottles of the composition).
- Immediately after adding the compound, make a trip by car for 20-25 minutes in norm al operation.
After the application of the compound, the car can be used as usual.

It also able to minimise risk of breakdowns in emergency oil loss. Compound is designed for treatment of petrol engines (or gasoline ones which is exactly the same) of passenger cars with a mileage more than of 50,000 kilometres. The additive is based on technology which allows to use it for engines of any type and design, including turbocharged and non-turbocharged ones. May be successfully used for gas engines (equally for CNG, LNG and LPG types of fuel) as well as for bi-fuel engines.
Atmium Activ Plus interacts only with metallic surfaces in friction areas. It is chemically neutral, doesn’t affect motor oil properties neither intentionally nor accidentally.
EFFECTS OF APPLICATION
When in area of high temperature and pressure Atomium oil additive activates metallic bonds in the friction surface. This gradually builds up a kind of protective layer, which fills up worn areas and narrows friction clearances to the optimal width. It also able to retain a dense film of motor oil.

Restored cylinders’ walls and dense oil film tightens gaps between them and piston rings. This sufficiently decrease breakthrough of compressed air to the oil pan and thus increases compression. Treatment with Atomium additive does not raise compression above normal level for the specific type of engine, but make it as it was in the new motor.
Other petrol engine additives may successful work as antifricion modifiers covering cylinders by easy sliding materials. However only restoration of cylinders’ shape may ensure stable and safe compression raising. That’s why Atomium compound may be counted as one of best additives for low compression cases.
TO STOP ENGINE OIL BURNING OR SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE IT
Protective layer created as result of engine treatment with Atomium compound narrows friction clearances between piston rings and cylinders. This improves the scraping of oil by the ring and therefore decreases amount of oil to be burnt in combustion chamber at each stroke. It may sufficiently reduce or even eliminate oil burning in the engine.
The natural wear and widened clearances is just one reason for oil burning, though most frequent one. Other mechanical breaks, e.g. hardened valve stem seals or cracks and damages of the gasket, may cause the oil waste. Instructions for application
Engine treatment is carried out after every regular oil change. It is necessary to add compound to new motor oil in accordance with the following procedure:
- Warm up the engine to operating temperature (regular operation).
- Stop the engine.
- Stir Tribotechnical compound «Atomium Active Regular» thoroughly until natural sediments (active components) are totally dissolved.
- Apply compound through the regular oil filling neck. Quantity the compound is determined according to the following scheme:

In case of significant oil contamination (identity by the color of the oil on the dipstick or oil spots on filter paper) start the second stage of treatment immediately.
Recommendations (after the 1st stage): Change the engine oil. Replace oil and air filter.
The 2nd stage: Add Atomium Active Diesel New to the new engine oil (see the graph), and then run the car in a regular mode till the next oil replacement.
Important:

- After applying Atomium Active Diesel New the engine should work on single turns (at idle) for 5 min. and then run for no less than 20 min. in any mode (regular operation)
